# From customer sketch
to CNC — step by step

 It is not magic: it is the same 3D project moving from the showroom (or website) into the quote and then into the workshop, without redrawing it from scratch.

 Try the 3D planner

 “Automation” here does not mean a robot that sells on its own. It means you stop rebuilding the project three times: once on paper, once in the sales program, once for the machine.

## The classic workflow (with loops)

- Visit / call → sketch on paper or incomplete measurements.

- “Quote tomorrow” — someone recalculates in Excel or from memory.

- The customer changes a dimension → redesign.

- Only then cutting and CNC, often with data rewritten.

 The loop is expensive in time, not only in scrap panels. Details on cutting errors are in the cutting errors guide .

## The Cabi Plan workflow (what exists in the product)

 Cabi Plan has three linked applications — described on Features :

- Planner 3D — on the website (HTML snippet / iframe) or in the showroom: 2D/3D room, catalog, materials, live VAT pricing.

- Configurator — admin panel: projects, customers, open Planner / Editor, internal marketplace.

- Standalone Editor — parametric cabinets: panels, formulas, hardware, holes, cutting preparation, and CNC inspector.

 The customer can configure in the evening on the site; in the morning you open the same kind of project in admin — not a photo of a sketch. The final commercial quote (negotiation, contract) stays with you; the software locks in the design and the catalog total.

## Digital steps, briefly

- Embed Planner 3D on your domain (site integration — see also the FAQ on pricing ).

- You set the catalog and manufacturing limits in admin / Editor, not “by eye” on every quote.

- From the project: parts list / cutting data; with the CNC module (add-on) — export to the machine after panel verification.

- Training and a demo for your company’s case are discussed at contact — we do not promise universal CNC integration without the module and without setup for your machine type.
